Rookwood pottery was founded in 1880 and was produced until 1967. Many themes were demonstrated on Rookwood over the years and included styles such as Victorian, art deco and art nouveau. Earlier Rookwood pottery can be distinguished by the use of flame etchings in its logos through 1900. Roman numerals were also used to date Rookwood pottery. The pottery is also identifiable by its various shapes with corresponding numbers.
This collection includes many early arts and crafts by artist Charles Todd, art deco style designs by Jens Jensen and many others.
