Artist Bill Neale Captures A Tranquil Scene From The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concours
DALLAS - April 18, 2008 - Renowned automotive fine artist Bill Neale was asked to display his artwork at the exclusive Palm Beach Cavallino Classic in 2006, and his latest painting proves it. The piece, “Cavallino Classic,” captures the serene art exhibit setting on the Concours grounds before the towering facade of The Breakers Palm Beach hotel. Neale, a founding member of the prestigious Automotive Fine Arts Society, is offering the original 16″ x 20″ watercolor painting along with signed, limited edition prints.
“The Cavallino Classic Concours is one of the most elite automotive events in the world today,” said Neale. “The quality of Ferraris displayed at The Breakers and trackside during event week each year is amazing. As only a few artists are chosen each year to show their works, this trip was a special honor.”
A pair of classic red Ferraris that “decorated” the Cavallino Classic art tent is prominently featured in Neale’s piece. Both the Ferrari 375 coupe and Spyder in the painting boast impressive racing histories, piquing the interest of Neale, a vintage racing enthusiast.
“These aren’t any ordinary Ferraris, if that word can be used for cars from Maranello,” noted Neale. “These racers carried the ‘prancing horse’ with pride into battle during renowned races across the globe. The coupe even competed in the legendary Pan Americana road race in Mexico in the early 1950s.”
“Cavallino Classic” and the limited edition prints are available through www.autoartgallery.com or by contacting Mr. Neale at bill@billneale.com.
As a founding member of the AFAS, Neale’s paintings are treasured centerpieces in many exclusive private and museum collections across the globe. A contributing artist for many magazines, he is best known for his private commissions of cars ranging from classic Ferraris to the newest models.
