FAMILY PURIM DANCE PARTY WITH SHIRA KLINE AT THE JEWISH MUSEUM SUNDAY, MARCH 16
NEW YORK, NY - Indie kiddie-rock sensation Shira Kline will present a concert and dance party for families in celebration of Purim at The Jewish Museum on Sunday, March 16 at 2:00 pm. Families can hear funky twists on traditional Purim songs as well as contemporary songs like Purim Bamba in this fun-filled program. Shira Kline, singing and playing guitar, will be joined by drummer Lee “Free” Frisari and guitarist Avi Fox-Rosen. Children are encouraged to come in costume and to help make as much music as possible in an effort to reverse all things wrong with the world through song, dance and laughter.
Tickets are $15 per adult; $10 per child; $12 adult Jewish Museum family level member; and $8 child Jewish Museum family level member. This concert is for children ages 3 to 8. Shira Kline is a Jewish musician, educator, and performer living in New York City. For the past fourteen years, she has worked with a diverse array of Jewish communities in New York and throughout the country, as well as with national organizations, synagogues, museums, Jewish Community Centers, schools, families, students, and theatre companies.

General Information
Museum hours are Saturday through Wednesday, 11am to 5:45pm; and Thursday, 11am to 8pm. Museum admission is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for senior citizens, $7.50 for students, free for children under 12 and Jewish Museum members. Admission is free on Saturdays.
