Booming Auction Industry to Hold Annual Convention in St. Augustine

October 2, 2007 – In a quarter trillion dollar a year industry, it pays to stay up to speed when it comes to the fast-paced, fast-talking world of auctioneering. Auctioneers throughout the state will take time away from the auction block on November 12th & 13th to attend the annual Florida Auctioneers Association State Convention in St. Augustine at the St. Augustine Historic Bayfront Hilton.

The annual convention provides its members with insightful programs and seminars to help their businesses. Seminars at this year’s convention range from programs on enhancing your auction business in today’s real estate market, to managing successful on-site auctions. The highlight of this annual convention is the bid calling competition with Auctioneers from across the state competing for the title of Florida’s best Auctioneer.
